LOS ANGELES—Los Angeles International Airport is warning passengers that there may be significant delays in flights because of an FAA computer glitch.
LAX officials say there are no problems Thursday morning but there could be beginning about noon as planes heading to Los Angeles are delayed and those heading out are kept back.
It's unclear how long problems may last but passengers are being urged to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
The problem stems from a Federal Aviation Administration computer problem in Utah. The problem was fixed after five hours but there has been a domino effect from backups around the country.
