What were you thinking when I first started “grifting”? They say that prison does not fit her! Seriously though, I learned what it’s like to be taken away from everything you love, and how to accept the consequences of one of the wrong decisions.

Do you ever actually like any of the men you refer? Yes, this is a terrible thing. I felt a real attraction and admiration for all the friends that I hurt. Coincidence, and I was only dating one of them, has not committed any crime anywhere in addition to the state of Utah.

Why do you think that these men fell for your stories? I would like to say that it was not just “men” but the real friends, and I think that this is your answer. These people really cared about my well-being, and I had the best interest in mind, at all times.
