Ultimate Fighting Chamionship to hold UFC 111 veiwing party at Radio City Music Hall
Ultimate Fighting Championship president, Dana White, announced that the MMA tournament's organization will hold a viewing party and pre-fight press conference at the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City for the UFC111 event taking place on March 27h at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
“We are holding this viewing party so all of our fans in New York can experience UFC 111 at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, one of the coolest places in the city, and with some of our biggest UFC stars,” said UFC President Dana White.
The event will be broadcast in High-Definition on Radio City Music Hall’s 70’ x 35’ screen, the largest screen to broadcast a UFC event. The viewing event will be hosted by Stephan Bonnar and Jason Ellis. In addition, former UFC champions Chuck Liddell and Matt Serra will be making a special guest appearance at the viewing party.
The first 200 fans attending the event will get access to a pre-fight autograph session with "The Iceman" starting at 7:15 p.m ET. The autograph session will be followed by a Q&A session with Liddell, Serra and Bonnar.
UFC 111 fight card is headlined by a welterweight title main event between champion Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy and co-headline by a interim heavyweight championship match featuring Frank Mir and Shane and that will determine who will face Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar in June.
Doors for the closed-circuit viewing party are scheduled to open at 7:15 p.m. ET. The UFC111 preliminary fights will be aired on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET, followed by the main card on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
